Bridgestone Medalist MK-II 59cm Disc Brake Road Frame 1977

Good condition.
This is a 1977 Japanese Brisgestone steel road frame with rear mounts for a Bridgestone disc brake. The bike was marketed in Canada under the Supercycle brand. While the tubing is fairly low-end butted high tensile steel, the frame has nice detailing such as the chromed rear stays and interesting lug details.
59cm seat tube.
57cm top tube.
Seat tube decals are in decent condition.
Paint is chipped and scratched throughout, and deteriorated around the seat and bottom bracket lugs.
Chrome finish on the rear stays is very good with some minor blemishes.
Bottom bracket and accessory threads are all good.
No dents.
English threaded BB shell.
Built to accommodate 27x1 1/4 ISO 630 wheels.
Requires a 25.8mm internal clamping seatpost.
Made in Japan.
